Mentoring

NALS Mentor Program

Mentoring is tough to truly define. Every mentoring relationship is unique. The skills of establishing a relationship, building trust, listening, asking questions, and a willingness to make time and take an interest in someone’s development are the keys to successful mentoring. Regardless of the age or status of mentor or mentoree, the relationship is a partnership. Mentoring is not a substitute for training and education. It complements and support the learning process. It also can increase your professional development.

Would you like to share your expertise and knowledge? Become a NALS Mentor! Would you like to learn from an experienced NALS member and increase your knowledge base? Become a NALS Mentoree!
