In 2010, Branson is celebrating 50 years of family entertainment! Silver Dollar City is celebrating 50 years of entertaining families with events throughout the year and a new $7 million ride — Tom and Huck’s RiverBlast. The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama also celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
To help you better understand how you can get to where you want to
go in Branson, below is a list of airports and what is available to
you at the airport in regards to ground transportation. I hope this
helps you in your planning as we travel to Branson, Missouri for the
59th Annual NALS National Forum and Education Conference.
Branson Airport
There are several different options for airports in and around Branson. Branson Airport is 10 miles south of the world-famous Branson Strip and has the capacity to handle more than 1 million enplanements annually. Families and groups flying to Branson have dining and auto-rental services on-site, as well as taxi and shuttle service into Branson.
Airlines: AirTran Airways, Frontier

Shuttle: Complimentary shuttles from the Chateau on the Lake will
be available to and from the Branson Airport with a 24-48 hour notice.
As a secondary option, you can board the Gray Line hotel shuttle that
services all hotels in Branson. The shuttle is available for large
and small groups or individuals needing transportation to the Branson
area. The shuttle is available for 30 minutes after each flight unless
advance reservations have been made. Rates are $13.50 per person with
a two-person minimum. Their phone number is 417-332-CABS (2227).
Taxi: Branson Yellow Cab, Checker Cab and City Cab, our exclusive transportation providers, offer convenient transportation service to Branson and surrounding areas. Rates vary depending on your destination; however, five people can ride for the cost of one! Ride a total of six times during your stay and your return trip to the Branson Airport is free. Ask for a Loyalty Card upon arrival.

Springfield-Branson Airport
Springfield-Branson National Airport opened its new 275,000 sq. ft., $117 million Midfield Terminal in 2009. This facility has 10 airline gates and room to add 50 more if needed. Accessibility has been improved as well: flyers can walk from their car to their airplane without climbing a single stair. Allegiant Air and American Airlines are among the carriers providing low-cost flights to the airport. Springfield-Branson National Airport is roughly 50 miles north of Branson.

Shuttle: Tri-Lakes Shuttle (also known as Branson Coach) is located in the heart of Branson, MO and is dedicated to providing affordable, safe, and reliable transportation. Providing Group trips for military reunions, church groups, family reunions, and chartered motorcoach services is our goal. In addition, limousine services are available. We provide airport transfers between the Springfield/Branson National Airport to all Branson locations. Shuttle Rates/One Way Per Vehicle
• $80 per car plus gratuity. This is for 1-2 passengers with luggage
• $225 per shuttle plus gratuity. This is for groups of 10 or more.
To get the group pricing, one person must call in for a large group
and reserve for the group.
Taxi: Grayline offers taxi cab services from the Springfield-Branson
Airport. To schedule a taxi to pick you up in Springfield and take
you to the Chateau, you will need to call 417-334-5463. Taxi Rates/One
Way Per Vehicle are:
• $100 per car plus gratuity. One car can seat 1-4 passengers with
luggage.
Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport
Opened for commercial passenger business on November 1, 1998, the geographic terrain where the airport is located provides tremendous facilities for regional and larger jet aircraft to operate. Our mission is to ensure that the safest and most modern aviation infrastructure is in place to satisfy the needs of the traveling public. Environmentally conscious travel and development will be used to protect the natural splendor of the region while providing reliable, cost effective and convenient transportation for the public we serve. The Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport is located about 110 miles from Branson and approximately a two hour drive.

Little Rock National Airport
As the state’s largest commercial service airport, Little Rock National Airport serves 2.4 million passengers annually. The airport attracts passengers from a large part of Arkansas as well as a number of surrounding states. Little Rock National Airport is your “Gateway to the World” with 124 flight arrivals and departures at Little Rock each day and non-stop jet service to 16 national/international gateway cities. The Little Rock National Airport is located about 175 miles from Branson and approximately a three and a half hour drive.

Tulsa International Airport
Tulsa International Airport’s mission is to provide a safe, efficient, self-supporting airport system for the citizens of the Tulsa metropolitan area and surrounding region. Tulsa International Airport serves 3.5 million passengers annually. It has 86 non-stop daily departures and 172 flights arriving and departing daily. The Tulsa International Airport is located about 225 miles from Branson and approximately a three and a half hour drive.
