The NALS group room rate will be $119 per night. For reservations, you may reserve online at www.StarWoodMeeting.com/Book/NALS or call 1-800-325-3535 and ask for the NALS group rate. Available dates for the NALS rate are September 30 – October 13, 2017, based on availability. Make your reservations now! Deadline for making room reservations at the NALS group rate is September 3, 2017, or whenever block is full. If reservations are made after this date, the room rate cannot be guaranteed.

**PLEASE NOTE: 2016 Hotel Block was full two months before the event date. Please reserve your room as soon as possible.

             We know that traveling to NALS conferences can get expensive. In efforts to help our members, NALS proudly announces travel discounts with Avis Rent-A Car and Hertz Car Rental. Read below for more details.

    Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel recommends using James River Transportation to and from the hotel. James River Transportation is located at a counter in the Baggage Claim area (beside door #3) inside the Norfolk International Airport. They also offer transportation to and from the Richmond International Airport. They offer fixed rate services. The NALS Foundation Trustees invite you to an evening of intrigue and excitement as we celebrate superheroes, both old and new, at the NALS Foundation Event on Friday, October 6, 2017. Come dressed as your favorite superhero or be creative and innovative and come dressed as the newest paragon of greatness.  Our festivities will be hosted by Captain Innovator, who will be making a special appearance on her night off from saving the world from old, boring ideas!  You won’t want to miss out on this marvelous evening that will include many extraordinary heroes – including you!

 

 

Escape Room Event (Registration Closes July 1)

Join NALS for a new, simple, and fun live games that will challenge your team. This 60-minute team building event will deliver creative problem-solving challenges to your assigned team so get ready! The goal is simple: get out as fast as you can! The winning teams will receive prizes.

Your teams will be assigned to you by NALS so you will get to meet new people who are passionate about being a legal professional! We encourage each team to organize a time to have dinner together and meet other attendees, as there will be no dinner service provided for this event.

 

 

Scavenger Hunt

Saturday, October 7, 2017  |  7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.  |  $35.00

The scavenger hunt is designed to get you out of the hotel and to see some area attractions, shops, bars and more nearby. You and your NALS PALS teams will be pitted against others for a prize. NALS will be using the new NALS.org SocialLink mobile application, which will be provided to your prior to the event, to keep track of your teams progress so be sure your NALS.org profile is up-to-date with your information and get ready to HUNT!
 
We encourage each team to organize a time to have dinner together and meet other attendees BEFORE this event, as there will be no dinner service provided.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds will be given (less a $50 processing fee) for cancellations received no later than August 1, 2017. No refunds will be granted for requests postmarked after that date. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. Substitutions will gladly be accepted prior to the conference! Only one (1) substitution is permitted per original registrant. Must be substituted for the original conference; no transfers to a future conference will be allowed.
