About the Foundation

The NALS Foundation strives to ensure top-notch legal services are the norm. It funds quality education programs for legal professionals working with attorneys and the public to enhance their skills and provide them with the latest information on their profession.

The NALS Foundation also keeps the good of the legal profession in the public eye, emphasizing a positive image of the profession and the importance of qualified, competent legal professionals.

Working hand in hand with NALS Building Your Career and the Future

The Foundation was established in 1989 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational foundation dedicated to ensuring a rewarding future for all legal support professionals. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded grants and contributions of over $75,000 for the benefit of chapters, states, and regions.
The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of trustees. The trustees have established many opportunities for you to donate and are constantly expanding the ways for you to reap the benefits of Your Money at Work.

The Foundation has established the following as funding priorities:

Partnering with the NALS Foundation

Becoming a partner with the Foundation is easy! Any contribution you make to the Foundation helps build careers and the future of the legal support professional. There is no minimum or maximum contribution requirement. Anyone can make contributions –– members, chapters, states, regions, foundations, corporations, employers, family members, and other entities.

The NALS Foundation seeks partners for ongoing projects such as: keynote speakers at NALS meetings; information CD for NALS members, and ATM grant funding.

Your support of the NALS Foundation qualifies as a charitable contribution and is deductible for federal income tax purposes to the maximum extent provided by law.

Recognitions

Your future and mine! Need to recognize a member? Why not contribute to the NALS Foundation on behalf of your association’s President or Member of the Year. Spread their recognition NALS-wide.
