EXTERNAL MARKETING
marketing on the internet

Web Site.

Your chapter’s site could generate membership leads from areas that were inaccessible before the Internet. Think of the Internet as an information booth that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
A web site can and should:

• be an information source for members and potential members
• contain information that will help people in their careers
• include all or part of your publications
• list chapter products and services
• contain meeting information
• provide links to other legal websites
• include certification and recertification information
• provide a guest registry
• include a calendar of events

Use your imagination; the possibilities are limitless. If someone in your chapter is an internet expert, the cost of setting up a web site can be almost nothing. There are web sites that cost around $100 per year that are easy to use and simple to create and update.
