Reproducing Information Found on the NALS Web Site

Generally, NALS members may reproduce and redistribute articles written by NALS members, NALS information, and any photographs posted at the NALS web site, without requesting permission.

If an article has a specific “Copyright” or “Request Permission to Reprint” notation on the page, you must contact that author to request permission.

Please note that technically, copyright protection attaches at the moment the work is fixed in tangible form (“written down”). Respect the intellectual property of others. When in doubt, always ask.

Finding Information on the NALS Web Site

Currently, most information is linked from the NALS “Home” page. A Search box has been added to the Home page to make it easier to find information being sought.

Pages are archived and/or deleted periodically, and usually there is no notice to the public. If you need something you once saw on the site, contact the NALS Resource Center to request a backup copy, being sure to specifically identify the article you are searching for.
