and newsletters available to our membership. Leaders and members
are encouraged to submit articles of interest and chapter newsletters

a newsletter.
The E-Learn area
of the site includes educational articles to assist our members
with specific areas of the legal profession. Chapter newsletter
editors can use these articles as a valuable resource.
Leading
the Way (a very informative monthly on-line newsletter)
provides articles regarding technology that not only assist
our leaders and members in their elected positions with NALS,
but these articles also provide very useful information to
assist them while performing their jobs.

is a summary of all events occurring nationally, regionally

are either national events posted by the NALS Resource Center,

Our
Home Page will always have links to information on the next
Educational and/or Leadership Conference coming your way. Information
on where the conference will be held, a full description of
the educational and leadership topics to be offered, along
with all information on the conference will be available on-line
through this link. Our National Forum and Educational Conferences
are held in the Fall of each year, and our Leadership Conferences
are held in Tulsa, Oklahoma in March of each year. You can
register right on-line for each national conference. In addition,
regional, state and local chapters offer educational conferences
throughout the United States.

ensuring a rewarding future for all legal support professionals.
The Foundation awards grants and contributions to benefit chapters,

On-Line
Learning Center:

The
On-Line Learning Center is a chat room on the NALS.org web
site where any member can join the NALS President, Board and
Committees on one evening per week for various topic discussions
and Q&A sessions. There is also a link to the Chat Coordinator
to suggest a chat topic, to schedule a weekly chat (as a committee
chair), reserve a national or other level committee chat (whether
monthly or a one-time usage), or request a log of any of the
weekly posted chats. That On-Line Learning Center schedule
appears on the chat page and is also included in the regular
mailings to state and local chapter leaders and in E-News.
The current weekly chats are held on Tuesday evenings at 9:00
p.m. Central Time as posted on the web site and in various
NALS publications. For additional helpful information on how
to use the On-Line Learning Center, see page 8 below.

Study Group:

for an upcoming certification exam. These study groups are
usually held from 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Central Time) on Wednesday.
