General Overview - www.nals.org The NALS Web Site is a “living” brochure, resource, and learning tool. It is constantly changing, and may not look the same every time it is visited. The people who perform the maintenance and upkeep of the site are volunteers from NALS, with few exceptions. Those volunteers are not lawyers, nor are they computer experts. It takes each and every NALS member to keep the site the best it can be. Suggestions for improvement should be provided to the Web Team by clicking on the “Suggestions” link at the bottom of the HOME page (and most other NALS web pages). NALS welcomes member input, and actively seeks to make the web site easier to use, more useful, and an important part of each member’s daily life. Information changes on a daily basis, so if a “URL NOT FOUND” message appears, click the BACK button and try the link a second time. Some pages load slower than others. If the link still does not work, we suggest you click in the address box at the right end, then backspace to delete anything to the right of the last “forward slash” (/). If the error message still appears, repeat the process until you get to the NALS.org Home page and then try to get to the information through another link. Please report all broken links (“URL NOT FOUND” error messages) by clicking on the “Suggestions” link at the bottom of most NALS.org web pages. When reporting a broken link, please provide: (1) the URL of the page you were on when you clicked the link that did not work, and (2) let us know what specific words (or picture) you clicked on that did not work. The Web Team Leader has authority to alter information presented for posting, but only minimally, to the extent needed to make it function more efficiently as a web page. What you see on the NALS web site is almost exactly what was submitted to the Web Team by the person or committee authorized to submit information. Information provided without proper authentication may delay its posting.
