NALS Launches New Career Center!

Finding the perfect employee – and the perfect job – just got easier!

Tulsa, OK - NALS... the association for legal professionals announces its newest offering to association members—a web-based career center that connects job seekers with prospective employers in the legal industry. The new NALS Career Center, built by JobTarget, which powers more than 1,100 job websites and career centers for organizations that serve niche audiences, can be found at careers.nals.org. Access is available to NALS members and nonmembers alike. 

 

“JobTarget was recently acquired by YourMembership.com, NALS current association management software provider," said April Collins, NALS Meetings & Communications Manager. "Due to this acquisition, NALS now has the opportunity to better align our career center with our membership database to bring greater integration capabilities to our membership. All NALS members will now have single sign-on access to an Employer Account with special member pricing, which means direct cost savings to our members' firms and employers. The next time your firm is recruiting for a new position, be sure to post the job on the NALS Career Center so that you will know the job is being seen by quality candidates. With the addition of a bi-weekly Job Flash email to our membership, it will provide additional exposure for these jobs, and will place them not only in front of active job seekers, but passive job seekers as well. That means that even when you aren’t looking for a job you can learn about new opportunities."

Below are steps for logging into your employer account: 


  • Log into your member profile on www.nals.org and click "Career Center" under the Resources menu item.
  • Once there, click the "Employers" tab. You will then see a "Sign-In or Create Account" tab in the top right hand corner. Hover over that and click "Employer."
  • You will see two options on the next page—select the "Click Here to Continue" option under the "I Am A Member" box. This will activate the single sign-on and you should be redirected to your "My Account" page. 

 

Below are steps for logging into your job seeker account: 

  • Log into your member profile on www.nals.org and click "Career Center" under the Resources menu item.
  • Once there, hover over the "Job Seekers" tab and select "My Account." 
  • You will see two options on the next page—one for existing job seekers and one for new jobseekers. First attempt to locate an existing job seeker account that you may have created on our previous job board by entering the email address you have registered with NALS and clicking on the Forgot Your Password link. If you had a job seeker account on our previous job board, it will send you a password reset email in which you will be able to reset your password using your NALS registered email address.
  • If you did not have a job seeker account set up on our previous job board, you will simply need to create a new account profile, following the on screen prompts.
