Committee Announces Board of Directors Officer Slate, Call for Volunteer Applicants

After much deliberation, the NALS Leadership Identification Committee (LIC) is pleased to present the NALS Board of Directors slate of officers for the 2017-2018 year. Since there are two Board of Director terms expiring in March of 2017, the upcoming ballot will include voting to replace those Directors. The ballot will also include voting for the following officer positions: President and Secretary. Electronic ballots will be emailed to all valid email accounts registered with NALS, beginning October 24, 2016. Polls will be open for two weeks, closing on November 7, 2016. Please encourage your state and local chapter members to watch their inboxes for their ballots.

NALS is beginning the application process for the Leadership Identification Committee (LIC) position that will become vacant in February 2017. The LIC is responsible for selecting the best and brightest from within the legal industry to serve as candidates for each vacant position on the NALS Board of Directors. Any member who is qualified can submit an application to be considered for appointment to the LIC.
