NALS needs you- → Have you thought about mentoring? Do you or someone you know need a mentor? One of greatest rewards I received several years ago was when several new members remarked how appreciative they were of me when they attended their first state conference and I took them under my wing.

Your NALS Regulation & Certification Committee
As a NALS member, you have heard of the various NALS committees and, if you have not had the opportunity to join a committee, you may wonder what exactly do the committees do and who are the members.  Committee members are just like you, interested in continuing our education and keeping abreast of changes in our chosen career.  I have been a member of the Regulation/Certification Committee for several years now and will tell you who the members are, what we do, how we do it and why.

FREE! Attend a NALS Conference for FREE!
You can fly to the NALS 2009 Annual Conference in Irvine, California for free.  FREE?  OK, so the whole trip may not be free, but your air fare could be free (or you might have to pay a nominal fee like $10). You’re thinking this has to be a scam…airline tickets are not free, especially in this day and age.  How?

What Did You Say the Topic Is?
Most of us have established our careers in certain areas or fields, litigation, real property, corporate law, etc.  When choosing topics and presentations to attend for our continuing legal education, we might be inclined to only attend classes or presentations that specifically target our particular field.

NALS Foundation Circle Donations Promote Positive Attitudes
Have you ever heard the phrase “what goes around comes around”?  Of course you have.  It is like a circle going round and round, beginning, coming back and starting anew over and over again—until there is no beginning and no end.
