NALS is dedicated to broadening its relationship with the academic community. Students are entitled to many benefits afforded regular members such as discounts on educational materials, products, seminars and conferences. In addition to student membership, NALS also offers an associate membership to educators! Joining now will give students a head start in gaining employment and credibility in the legal profession. As more students are being encouraged to work toward an industry credential while pursuing a high school diploma, NALS has created a task force and an initiative for getting NALS certification exams listed on individual states’ approved industry certifications lists. Industry certifications earned through secondary and postsecondary career and technical education programs and courses are an important component of the public education system.
