Historic Tulsa Trolley Tour ($35)
Older than Oklahoma itself, Tulsa has held many titles: “The Oil Capital of the World,” “America’s Most Beautiful City,” and “The Birthplace of Route 66.” Tulsa’s history is vast, ranging from the fanciful times that produced affluence and culture still evident in the Art Deco skyscrapers that fill downtown, to the tragic Tulsa Race Riot of 1921. For over a century, Tulsa has not only made history; it has honored and preserved it. NALS is giving you a chance to make a little history of your own as you ride in an old urban trolley on a three hour tour of Tulsa! This tour includes many Art Deco buildings, the Greenwood Historical District, dubbed America’s “Black Wall Street” by Booker T. Washington, the Brady Arts District, some of early Tulsa settlers’ mansions, two of the world’s largest landmarks—the Golden Driller and the Praying Hand—and a few other stops along the way! This is a great option for those who have afternoon flights. Space is extremely limited; only 15 seats available.
