During this presentation, Brynne will discuss issues specific to both taxable and nontaxable estates and will provide practice tips that will help you become an invaluable resource to both your attorney and your grieving clients.



Speaker Bio:

Brynne A. Williamson, PP, PLS-SC

Brynne Williamson is a paralegal in the Personal Planning Group at Perkins Coie, LLP in Seattle, Washington, where she specializes in estate and trust administration, gift tax return preparation, and the preparation of estate tax returns. A 2004 graduate of the San Joaquin College of Law paralegal program, Brynne obtained her ALP certification from NALS, went on to obtain her PLS certification in 2005, and earned her Professional Paralegal (PP) credential in 2007. Since joining NALS in 2004, Brynne has been an active member of the association. She has served on the NALS Board of Directors as the NALS Secretary/Treasurer from 2012-2013, NALS Marketing Director from 2011-2013, and NALS Region 7 Director from 2009-2011. Brynne also served as President of NALS of Greater Seattle in 2008, and held various other positions on the state and local levels of NALS. Over the years, Brynne has been awarded with several honors and awards. In 2006, she was recognized as the NALS of Greater Seattle Volunteer of the Year. In 2008, she was chosen as the NALS of Greater Seattle Legal Professional of the Year. In 2011, she was named as NALS of Washington Member of the Year.
