Call For Volunteers for 2016-2017 Year

Help make a difference in NALS and in the legal support industry.

Volunteers are the heart of NALS and we rely on the passion, excitement, expertise, and diverse perspectives of our volunteers to help create indispensable tools and experiences. Please take time to review the opportunities for volunteer participation within NALS. We are hopeful that you will discover a way to put your passions into action, and will consider joining the NALS 2016-2017 leadership team or renewing your volunteer commitment for the upcoming year.

As the NALS Board of Directors discussed in their most recent article in the NALS docket (and Blog Post), NALS will be transitioning to one annual meeting which will take place each fall. With this change, it means that next year will be a transition year for our committee/volunteer structure. In order to properly align our volunteer terms to transition in October at the fall meeting instead of in March at the Tulsa meeting, our committee chairs and volunteers for the 2016-2017 year will be asked to serve an extended term. This extended term will begin February 24, 2016 (at NALS All-Committee Orientation) and will carry through until October of 2017 where we will transition volunteers in conjunction with the NALS 66th Annual Education Conference & National Forum.

The deadline for responding to this Call for Volunteers is Monday, November 30 and appointments will be made in December.
