Chapter Grant Application

NALS Chapter Grants

The NALS Foundation is excited to announce the opening of a Chapter Grant period! The Foundation wants to award a grant to your state or local chapter for an innovative technology program, event, mode of delivery, or other proposal that helps to connect, educate, and/or certify members of the legal community. With the pandemic limitations that have prevented chapters from gathering in person to engage, enhance, inspire, or promote, it is now more important than ever that NALS and its chapters seek innovation. We must find new ways to use technology to deliver CLE programs, conduct membership meetings, study for certification exams, and network with other legal professionals.

The NALS Foundation grand period will be open July 15, 2020, and all applications must be submitted by August 31, 2020. A grant application is available below for submission online. Hard copy submissions will not be accepted. All current NALS state and local chapters are eligible to apply for a grant. The NALS Foundation Trustees will discuss all applications and determine which chapters will receive grants. Grant awardees will be announced during the 69th Annual NALS Conference, which will be held virtually on Saturday September 26.
