Celebrating 95 Years of NALS! |
Our association has a strong heritage in the legal field and holds the honor of being the oldest association formed for legal support professionals. Established in 1929 by our founder Eula Mae Jett, the association was incorporated as the National Association of Legal Secretaries in 1949 and renamed NALS…the association for legal professionals in 1999. We updated to the National Association for Legal Support Professionals in 2021. This year is our 95th anniversary, and we are celebrating in numerous ways!
95th Anniversary History Project NALS is working to compile previous pictures from NALS events and conferences. Search through your photo albums and camera rolls for any NALS pictures and upload them to our Cluster photo album. We will all be able to see your pictures, reminisce, and celebrate NALS' history together!
NALS Foundation Founder's Challenge 1929 presented challenges to people working in the legal field, but Eula Mae Jett had an idea that would bring people together to share ideas and provide solutions to the everyday problems that arose. 95 years later, NALS is still working to provide solutions to the challenges legal support professionals face each day. On behalf of our Founder, Eula Mae Jett, the NALS Foundation challenges the members and chapters to show support for NALS by making a simple donation:
Make your Founder's Challenge donation today! Download our challenge flyer to share in your chapter newsletters or other communications.
Voices of the Past NALS is collecting stories of amazing NALS members so we can update our "Voices of the Past" book, and you can help us! If you know someone or knew someone in the past who has or is making a difference to NALS, tell us about them! Fill out our member spotlight form and tell us how much of an impact they have made to NALS and the legal field! Share them with us here!
