NALS Foundation - Grants |
Applying for a NALS Foundation grant is as easy as 1-2-3! Please review the simple three-step process below, and direct any questions you may have to the NALS Foundation Chair at foundation@nals.org.
Step One: Decide on a Project! In keeping with the NALS Foundation’s mission, grants will be awarded for programs which support education, leadership development, marketing, membership, certification, and/or an innovative new project. Applicants are also encouraged to develop innovative new programs that go beyond the typical, classroom-style, learning environment—but it does not have to be a new program! Step Two: Complete the Online Grant Application!Outline your proposal by completing the easy online application form, available at the bottom of this page, and answering each question as thoroughly as possible. To qualify for consideration, all requested information must be included with the application. The deadlines for receipt of proposals are March 1 and September 1. You CAN receive a grant—it’s that easy! What’s the catch? There is no catch! All grant proposals will be reviewed by the NALS Foundation Board of Trustees and grants will be awarded at the discretion of the Board. Step Three: Marketing and Follow Up
If your local chapter or state association is awarded a NALS Foundation grant, the only two things the NALS Foundation requires in return are:
